Primary Function

Acuity is seeking a Business Development Recruiter to support bids and proposals for all divisions of the company, to include Healthcare Services, Occupational Health, Risk Management, Specialized Engineering and Construction, and Logistics & Base Operations. The position interacts daily with potential candidates, employees, and internal management and reports to the Recruiting Manager

As a member of the Acuity Talent Acquisition team, this position is also responsible for supporting and upholding the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values

Responsibilities

Develop or modify outreach strategies designed to recruit targeted staff

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to effectively implement outreach strategies designed to encourage and foster a diverse and inclusive work environment

Monitor and evaluate the impact of the recruitment efforts and provide recommendations for improvement where necessary

Maintaining databases in order to provide accurate and timely program information required for reports

Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs

Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport

Determines candidat5e requirements by studying requests for information, requests for proposals, statements of work, and other related proposals and capture data

Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements

Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with capture and proposal managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications

Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Develops recruiting operational plans and conducts market analysis and recruiting opportunities

Work remotely or on-site and capable of working independently with little to no supervision

Develops market penetration plans and market expansion plans in support of strategic objectives and organizational goals

Develops targeting plans and synchronization matrixes that define multiple approaches to prospecting

Develops regional advertising and recruiting campaign recommendations

Conduct lead generation activities and prospecting and follow-up activities daily

Conduct internet and social media recruiting campaigns in conjunction with telephone prospecting and referral prospecting as a result of the cultivation of centers of influence and very important persons

Performs duties in a safe manner. Follows the corporate safety policy. Participates and supports safety meetings, training, and goals. Ensures safe operating conditions within an area of responsibility. Encourages co-workers to work safely. Identifies “close calls” and/or safety concerns to supervisory personnel. Maintains a clean and orderly work area

Assists in the active implementation of company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, NRCME (DOT) and other mandated regulations/standards

Capable of conducting lead source analysis and determining conversion rates

Other duties and work tasks as assigned by the Recruiting Manager or Director of Recruiting

Capable of travel when required (30%)

May serve on the OSHA VPP, Safety, and Wellness Committees

Job Requirements

Six years of direct full lifecycle recruiting experience

Prior experience supporting government bids and proposals

Ability to monitor a process and communicate discrepancies to individuals and groups

Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with varying levels of people

Experience with candidate sourcing, pre-screening, and general HR compliance

Hands-on experience with various selection processes

Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; be comfortable with cold calling, and the ability to adapt to a change when needed

Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting healthcare recruiting highly preferred

Experience with Workday

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs. Good eye/hand coordination required. Constant use of sight, speech, hearing, frequent keying and use of computer and common office equipment required
